War Memorial 3rd Place!

Penn finished the War Memorial in 3rd place overall, easily qualifying for the Atlantic Coast Championship on Nov 10th and 11th! Both days were breezy and the competition was very challenging. Garth Fasano and Kelley Millane won "A" division. Pat Curran, Bri Morgan and Doug Lotz all had a strong performance in "B" division. Overall, we finished ahead of many ranked schools and varsity programs.

Penn Sailing Wins KP Dingy Open!

Garth Fasano and Kelley Millane won A division with a total of 22 points over 13 races. Pat Curran and Bri Morgan won a tiebreaker for first place in B division with 29 points over 13 races. Overall, Penn came in first place with 51 points, 5 points ahead of second places.

KP Dingy Open 2nd After First Day

Pat Curran, Bri Morgan, Garth Fasano and Kelley Millane are in 2nd place overall after the first day with 40 points, just 3 points out of first place.

One Weekend, Three Regattas

This past weekend was another important one for the Penn Sailing Team. We had 15 people sailing at three different regattas.

For the second time, our women's team sailed at the Naval Academy in the three division Navy Fall regatta. Amanda Johnson and Katie Buzby sailed A division, Bri Morgan and Amanda Vecchione sailed in B division and Kelley Millane sailed in a Laser Radial.

Another team was in Hampton Virginia and finished 4th out of 10. Doug Lotz and Matt Luongo sailed A division and Alec Ofsevit and Christine Roche sailed in B division.

Finally, at Delaware we came in 3rd out of 8. Mike Schnitt and Elana Lev/ Brittany Cummins sailed A, while Jake Rosenberg and Stacey Toseland sailed in B.

This coming weekend we are sailing at Central #2 at Washington College and the 4 division regatta Navy Fall at the Naval Academy.
